Why would anyone pay for Starz Digitals?

I can see paying extra for digitals if there is a HD service - which Starz does not offer. Are there some Starz channels only available in digital?

Does any other service charge extra for the digitals?

YES!

An analog Starz subscription gets you Starz East and West plus 3 other channels for a total of 5.

Starz Digital provides a bundle of 28 channels (half of them are western time zone refeeds).

The most notable Starz digital offerings are the thematic channels: Westerns, Action, Mystery, True, Love, Wam! (childrens), and Starz Black. Only Westerns is available in analog.

All these channels offer movies and other long-form programming without commercials.
