    Southern ShawDirect reception

I'm trying to help install a system in Athol, Massachusetts via email. Coordinates are N42.593, W72.234

He has a good signal on channel 700 but nothing on 299.

I used the online calculator to provide pointing coordinates.
    227.7 magnetic azimuth
    28.43 elevation
    119.5 skew angle

Channel 700 signal strength is 98% so he's close.
    Channel 252 is 92%
    Nothing. 0% on 299 and 300.

Any thoughts? Is he too far south for Anik F1R?

Are you using the new xKu LNB? If so you will have to get Shaw Direct to reprogram your receivers.

You are well within the Anik's (all of them) footprints:

It's a DSR600 receiver and 76E dish with quad LNB.
How does the network status change for stacked vs normal lnb?

Is this map status correct for the quad LNB for dual satellite?
    Map Status: 532-4320

Any issue with it trying to update? Should I get him to leave it on channel 700 overnight?
    Current version 06:22
    Target version 00.09.22
