Thread: Bell Upgrading 9200's

It will work just the same with the Legacy equipment not to mention that he should not be doing that as per Bell's information supplied to Installers.

As it turned out, the installer did come and I had him install a new run of coax from the SW44 in the garage to the new 5900 in a guest bedroom in the basement. He was done and gone in 20 minutes.

Why? I had an SW44 that was filled, I kinda expected an SW44A or something like that, but he just switched out the LNB's.

So it was not a straight swap then.? The 9200 has 2 feeds so does the 9241/9242 so why the need for more feeds.?

As for the SW44a, Bell TV have NEVER had those and now never will.

I had a 9242 and the 9200. They gave me a 9241 and a 5900 for the 9200 so there wasn't enough lines to feed everything.

And I would NEVER have accepted that combination, a direct replacement is/was the 9242.

Thats what I wanted, I even offered to pay the difference from the 5900 to another 9241. I'm sure you know what is is like talking to Bell CSR's.
