    I assume you would know that I had meant it as a joke - just as how you had spelled grammer and manditory incorrectly as a joke!

    As far as spellings go, a Canadian (Canadian Oxford, Gage Canadian, etc.) dictionary tells us that the preferred Canadian spellings are cheque (for money) neighbour, labour, colour, honour, centre, metre, sulphur, ... but analyze, tire, jail, aluminum, ... and my favourite - licence for a noun, but license as a verb.
