This (the HD program information)has been missing for quite a while *C. Wonder why they do not fix it. If they have subcontracted this to someone else to do for them---fire them ----get on their case---do something. It is *c's product and their image that looks bad. The negative image of *c's HD capabilities continues to suffer.

Too bad as usual. Just cannot seem to put a professional product togeather.

Csm Altough I can agree with your first statement I do find that that last comment was unnecessary.

We are all aware how uncompetent and unprofessional they are, there is no need to rub over and over.

You see it gets tiring reading it.
But it is true that that guide should be fixed...

Joe ,
don't read it.

When I see a header that says " What's your favorite ice cream flavor" , I don't read it because I know what it's going to be about.

When I read this header , I could see what was coming .No big surprise.
And believe it or not reading about complainers complain about complainers ........

Dear XXXXX XXXXXXXX:

Thank you for your recent e-mail regarding HDTV guide. Due to staffing
issues, this portion is currently under construction but should be in
operation again very soon. Please try again in a few weeks and if you are
still experiencing problems let me know so I can further investigate this
matter.

Thank you for choosing Star Choice,

Cathy C

The HD content has been pretty much missing from the guide for the last few
weeks? What is happening? When will it be fixed? The programming is also
missing from the Starchoice / Zapit website...

Please spare me the standard canned response.... please write out a new
one...

XXXXX

"staffing issues" = either a bunch of people got fed up and quit or we chopped some staff

"a few weeks" = /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

The story I received is that they are switching one of their subcontractors and the problems are being worked on. No time line given. I was told this when I chopped my sub to basic and the rep was trying to talk me out of doing so.

I think it's terrible mis-management on the part of StarChoice. With the amount of price increases and with the increase membership over the past year SC SHOULD NOT be reducing service. As it stands, I got better service a year ago while paying substantially less!

The crappy thing is I've invested a big chunk of change in my two 401s, elitptical and HD201. I can't afford to change providers... I've already removed most of my programming. I'm down to Bronze... All I can do is threaten them I guess...

I made it clear in no uncertain terms that i was downgrading my subscription due to the HD mismanagement.

Funny thing, the HD IPG is back online the next week. Probably a coincidence. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey,

Last night I noticed the guide useless again for SC... I think it said demo through-out the night except for The Tonight Show which was listed. I went online to check the schedule and the listing skipped over 290/292... These channels seem to be listing this morning on the same site...

BTW A question for those that subscribe to TMN... Since you're paying so much for so little HD... How do you know when there IS a movie on?

The individual TMN channel text listings on zap2it have HDTV as part of the description. It's a pain slogging through all the listings though. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The TMN guide should also say.

I now look at the Rogers IPG. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
