Wondering where to find skew angles when setting up *c in USA and Mexico?? KU Sat. program gives azimuth and elevations only , not skew.

Find the skew for setting up a DirecTV oval dish, it will be
similar, or could the SC skey value may be derived from it.

Remembering that E2 is not viewable in most of the US or at all in Mexico...

I'm no installer, but since skew is to adjust for the location along the arc of the Earth to the Sat location, wouldn't the skew be the same for anything along the longitude, and change as you move along latitude? If so, then anything that's along the same longitude of your position in Mexico should be suitable. Follow the longitude up to Canada to get a Canadian location and use the skew setting recommended on the *C website.

But, like I said, I could be way, way off.

Found a program to calculate angles for DirecTV and tried a USA site close to a Canadian site. The angles were way off so that idea doesn't work. Thanks for the input tho.

They aren't wrong though. You take the value given, and subtract 90.

Didn't find my original calculator but did find a calculator that gives the skew angles into the USA and can be adjusted if you just have lat and longs.
It is http://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/Satellite-Heading-Calculator.htm
