As the subject says...Can a StarChoice Oval eDish be used for HD DTV? Would the dish be suitable to supplement a single round dish for regular programming with the StarChoice rig setup for the seperate birds carrying HDNet/HBO and now Showtime?

No - SC has an LNBF for horizontal/vertical polarity. Any D/E/BEV dish ( circular polarity LNBF) will do. They are cheap on EBay.

I think Paul really was asking about the dish itself? The dish could be used, but not the LNB.

You're correct Dede. I need to put on my reading glasses. The SC Edish will cover 12 degrees at least as it was designed to see F1 @107.3 and F3 @ 118.7

Does anyone know if the arm is suitable for installing the two or now three LNB's necessary to acquire all three satellites?
