Why are HDTV movies on at rediculous times?

I am referring to ExpressVu. Like 2:40pm, and then 1:15 am.

I have rarely seen a HDTV movie during prime time.

What time do they show the movies on *C? I've been thinking of giving *C another try to see what has changed, all I will be out is a months programing cost.

Star Choice HDTV Movies are on at all hours of the day and night here in the British Columbia. Many have been on late afternoon (4 pm)/early evening (6 pm). Some have even been on in the morning or afternoon on weekends. Most are repeated at different times so you get lots of chances to see the movie that interests you.

There is a bit of a question in my mind about *Choice HD programming. I do not subscribe to any of the easter US nets ( Buffalo or Detroit ) however I notice on the IPG that most of the prime time HD offerings are from one of these locations. If I subscribed to HD will I be able to watch these or are they blocked based on subscription level?

The same question would apply to the various movies that are presented in HD that are sourced from TMN etc.

Thanks for the info.
