**DONOTDELETE**

This thread had its inception in the old forum. My old firmware HDD-201 and my Panasonic 56" RPTV didn't see eye to eye on the 720P and 1080i modes. It created line anamolies in both HD modes.
Have badgered *C for 6 months about this and have recently received a new firmware HDD-201.
WOW!!
With the old unit I could not even service mode converge my 1080i because of the line jitter. With no jitter, for the first time I have been able to do a 117 point convergence in 1080i and the picture is awesome, with no anamolies.
Plus there is an added bonus of having my 4:3 SD images scaled to 16:9 when feeding from the 401 and outputting to my Panny through the HDD-201.
720P also is corrected with no line anamolies.
Thank you StarChoice /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
P.S. Now I'll have to get JohnnyG to come down and do a mechanical alighment and redo the grey scale for me.
