G.I. 650i needs receiver (not VCRS) battery

My General Instrument IRD model 650i clock loses all time that occurs during a power failure. I believe that I need to replace the receiver battery (I'm not talking about the VCRS module).

What make, model, and voltage battery do I need?

Where can I buy it in the Ottawa - Brockville area?

What are the procedures for me to change the battery myself?
