HDD-201 and 720p

has anybody ever used the HDD-201 to convert/output 720p? and how good of a job does it do?

I had to use 720p when I had the 201.
My projector ,and others will not sync with the 1080i on SC but my projector has no problem with the 6000.
480p and 720p was all I could use.
And I really can't see much of a difference.If you put them side by side perhaps.
720p should handle sports better but will it if the source is 1080i and then converted to 720p?
My thought is that the damage is already done and 720p and the end will not fix artifacts caused by quick panning , etc..

thanks, the reason I ask is that this ne Panny AE-100 projectror seems to really like a 720 p input, I'll have to keep my eyes open for an op. to see one in action.
