ECMA's vs SuperBowl....Were These Folks Thinking?

LOL...Even with real time-shifting by the CBC(take notes CTV & Global...this is how time-shifting is supposed to work),

....the East Coast Music Awards are likely to be ignored by most folks who are watching the pre-game & Superbowl. Were the ECMA folks thinking when they scheduled this?

Last night woulda been a perfect time to show the ECMA's....There was no hockey as the All-Star Game was on in the afternoon. DUH!

CTV and Global follow the American model to maximize simulcasting.

However you'll note that they did finally start an Atlantic time feed of CTV news at 11 a few years ago, giving up their 10:00 Eastern American simulcast in that region.

Let's remember that originally, the Superbowl was to be played Jan 27th...the ECMA's, which were scheduled at least a year ago, was supposed to have been up against the Pro Bowl.
