Are you saying that a 401 will download 4DTV maps?
If yes, I thought that one had to be on G0 to start the first download?
......... and with all the complaints (on the 4DTV forum) about SC & 4DTV having different maps and corrupting 9XX's by going to A2 + Galaxy satellites - why would anyone do this?
............. what is TDT count maximum in 401 tables? After 1920, problems start with 9XX units.

The 4xx boxes are Ku only.
You point to the satellite with ASCN and tune in to channel 546 using the existing SC channel map, that's all there is to it.
L6 and X4 also have tunable channels when they are in FP mode that the 401 can pick up.

Verr...ry interesting. What can you get on L6 & X4 when they are ITC? Maybe there is a use for those old primestar dishes afterall

It's been a long while since I hooked up my 410 to the BUD just to see what I could pick up on it but I have seen TV Land(US),Disney,TNT,USA and a few others come in on L6.
X4 is mostly DMX with a few HITS channels like Toon Disney.
