It might be dieing

My CX series 28" has a line occuring across the bottom 1/5 of the screen, and a touch of distortion at the very bottom of the screen. Anybody know if this is indication of a set on it's last legs? or should I see about repair costs

I had a similar problem with a CX (34" I think) but in the top 1/5 of the screen. Turned out to be just an inexpensive capacitor - $4 part and $50 service call.
