how does a ex cable installer like J. S. know anything about DTH HDTV?

I acxtually can't hear it either, any mention about a pvr coming out?

Its through Windows Media Player for me. No mention of HDTV or PVR. They are mostly talking about Shaw (Internet, Cable etc.)

Nope, and they certainly didn't seem positive about any cooperation with MS or others in the "value added" stuff, i.e. if you want MSN, just go to MSN!

Windows media player works well...

My prediction: Shaw/SC will probably wait until the last minute before announcing any type of PVR or HD service.
