I can't figure this out!
I did a master reset on my DSR-921
and call starchoice for a rehit...
whent well 30 minutes after I Unplug the reseiver and switch to C-band and replug it
and All I can See in the "Program Satellites"
is S2 G6 S3 T4 G7 X7 G3 T5 G4 S4 W1 A2 A4 A8 A7 A6 M2 C4 C1 ....

But I've use my old analog receiver to lock on G0 because on G0-24 that's the outdoor chanel I can see the movie chanel (TMC)on G0-18 and I can See G0-23 A&E actualy not subscibed... but quality of G0-23 is 80%
While the rest is 70%

"But no G0 on the List" What is going on!...

Have you got G9 on your list? If so program it in the G0 position and put on transponder 7 or 9. Make sure you peak for digital lock. If you don't have G9 use another C-Band satellite programmed to the same position. Cycle the power at that point and leave in standby mode for 10-15 minutes.

When I do a master reset I go to G0 (use G9) 1st and turn off my IRD for 30 mins or so then I go to A2 to get a hit. It looks like you downloaded the S.C. maps 1st...

You'll want to download the *C sats first. If you don't, you run the risk of chunking things up with all of the other sats. When you finally go to a *C sat, you might not get the new sat tiles to download. You'll have to start from scratch again. Later.

Not true. To get the S.C. sats all you have to do is go to A2 uplug and when the IRD is plugged back in all the S.C. sats (A2, a4, A8, a5.......) will download.

Zoso is correct, I do the same thing he does after a MR, 'cept it only takes about 5-10 minutes to download all the tiles.
