Their website schedule shows it being broadcast in HD on Sunday:
"CBS AT 75, a new three-hour entertainment extravaganza commemorating CBS's 75th anniversary, will be broadcast live from the Hammerstein Ballroom at New York's Manhattan Center."

Don't count on it.
CBS's web site is famous for being incorrect.
It would be nice though. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You're right let's not count on it, although I've found the CBS listings to be quite accurate in the past, except for a delay in manual switchover to HD mode.

You don't think that the network is afraid to show all that plastic surgery under the detailed scrutiny of a high def camera. If Mary Tyler-Moore stretches her face any further, we'll be looking at the inside of her eardrum instead of her incisors. It would be like showing CSI in prime time ....too scarey for the little 'uns. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ain't going to happen.

They probably have so much in SD video that it didn't make sense to do the rest in HD.

HDTV Magazine is listing CBS at 75 in HDTV. Dale Cripps is usually produces an accurate schedule, but has sometimes made a mistake. We shall see!
